Dundalk Indian Association
Dundalk Indian Association is a vibrant community of around 50 plus people from Kerala, a southern state in India. Because of our commonly spoken language ‘Malayalam’ we are commonly known as Malayalees. This is a non-profitable cultural organisation formed to foster social, communal harmony among its members and also to promote cultural exchanges with other communities. Our main goal is to spread the ethnicity of our rich culture in local communities in general and also to impart a good understanding of our rich culture, heritage and values to the posterity.
Kerala, located on the south-western tip of India, enjoys unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Asia. Fondly referred to as ‘God’s Own Country’, Kerala was selected by the National Geographic Traveller as one of the 50 destinations of a lifetime and one of the thirteen paradises in the world.
Literacy rate being 100% and a very large number of Keralites are living almost all parts of the world.
